Before anyone asks, the idea is based on a bunch of old children's books that involved a storyline of going to the doctor's such as "The Berenstain Bears Go to the Doctor" where it was never considered "problematic" or "controversial" as it probably would be in this day and age where the society we are in now tries to ban everything they deem as personally offensive or whatever words they use. And no, I'm not trying to encourage pedophilia either if that's what some might be thinking. It's also based on a roleplay I did with one of my friends over at Discord where we use different characters to play as patient or doctor with roleplay, male or female, but try hard to pick characters that are not far too young or much too old either. Sometimes it's tricky doing that though.

Anyways, in the roleplay, Melody gets a royal checkup every year before her birthday. And she's about to turn 13 this year. Ariel will sit in the waiting room, slowly realizing that Melody is growing up and will someday make decisions and choices of her own, which also means making her own mistakes in life that everyone does, especially if Eric and Ariel may not always agree every time. But it doesn't mean they'll stop being there for Melody when she needs them. And Melody has still learned to love, respect, and honor her parents, not always agreeing with them either, but still loves them. As for the doctor's office, with the royal doctor being out on personal business elsewhere, someone else has taken his place until he gets back. Nurse Joy appears and introduces herself which Melody likes already, doing what she usually does with the royal doctor without complaint or protest, not even when it's time to use the stethoscope to test her personality and see that she's in good health.
