Oh, Bites? Yeah, he's a druid, and in 5e at least, they have something called Wild Shape, where they can turn into an animal they've seen. So he's a little bunny guy who can turn into a fuckin' panther or some shit when threatened.

Wild Shape is an interesting limited shape-shifting spell, yes.
I thought it was maybe Night Form (what we are in the shadows) but this one works, too.
