In the next picture I decided not apply the new effects, I did it for compare results. Here Djali appear with Achilles, another character from the hunchback of Notre Dame of Disney. Is the first time I anthro that character, but is not the first time I draw hourses... horses. x3

The moment in this picture is 100% random, I am not sure if Djali is scared because is a big guy behind him, or maybe is homophobic, or maybe scared him by the hug, who knows? think anything, ideas are welcome. =P

I believe he experiences that his body betrays him.
I find this Djali having quite some character in his appearance..

Maybe, maybe. Maybe you are right, maybe Djali is too young for that kind of situations.

I liked his design, his colors, all, and strangely is not a famous character , is not very used, I was wondered why. (My theory is because Disney changed the sexuality of Djali, in the book is female, I think exist an confusion)

I went around for a tauric version of him. but with an other colour pattern after i saw you draw him. His roman nose make him very distinct and he could fit in ideas I have for Chimera. He is lovely.

A chimera? wow, it´s should looks very interesting. :O I rarely I take ideas from mythology because sometimes I find difficult, however I have in mind the manticore, peryton and unicorns on the list of "future ideas", but chimera, wow, I find difficult make it in anthro. (O w O)ll

Here is my Chimera
I'm not the artist of it. But i gave the artist the animals i liked, and she made the result.
What do you think?

I have more ideas for him like in a whole odyssey for him. made by different artists eventually according to their forte..

i didn't like the snake head tail part so instead i added a lizard/crocodile part to him, along with some other minor parts like a thick long forked tongue, some quills in his mane and some horns.

here is the attempt of the tauric Djali. It wasn't the idea to get the same colors. i was more fan of a tricolor pattern, but the artist overlooked that.

There is also a manticore a page or 2 before that one.. nvm the subject. it's a strange comic he is placed in.

Oh I see it. yes I noticed the change of color. Long ago I did some taurin ideas but I never considerated official, so I never painted it, because I feel the cahracters, maybe his anatomy or... I dont know but I don´t feel looks good, in your case well I think you tried something better than me I guess.

The taur is done by cobramcjingleballs on my request. it's based on the nubian goat, but for the character i'm after an other coloring. Djali served as a reference.

What id you think of my Chimera?

I think looks good, for a moment suddenly I have the classic idea of a creature with goat, lion and snake heads, but I noticed you mixed all following a logic less chaotic than the mythological creature.

Thank you. Sometimes I find ridiculous the anthro hourses because:

- Super big heads.
- Useless giant genitalia.
- Hooves and not hands.

It was a kind of point I tried of not take it. And, well I don´t remeber Achilles as anthro in these places of fanart, and exist few pictures in the movie, was a little like "Ok, this is a nice challenge".

Agree with you on the big head, giant genitals and hooves for hands.

I think the minimum number of fingers to have the same dexterity as our own hands a horse or equine should have is 3.

I also haven't seen much anthro art of him either.

Yeah for that thing raraly I draw horses, hooves are a big problem.

As default I add 3 fingers in all my non-human characters, is more easy work with it and safe a lot of time of work.

I´ll try to make more of Achilles, there is few-none pictures of him.
