Well Rufus woke up one morning to see his forepaws weren't quite right. He had Hooves and standing up he noticed a lot was just not right. After stumbling a bit at first he found that walking on his hooves came somehow like normal to him, as if someone added that knowledge to him. After he came to his senses as to the matter of locomotion he took notice of his surroundings.
What looked like a big city it was surprisingly clean. He figured the name of the city was Manehattan by overhearing some ponies talking. It was then he saw his reflection the shock of being a pony had passed but what was a new shock he had wings.
Days passed he found all of the ponies were helpful to him and he heard word of a princess pony who was a bit of a trickster that may be responsible for his predicament.
He traveled across equestria earning his way here and there working jobs, fixing things, making bits here and there. He arrived in Ponyville and he met up with Rarity a unicorn he had seen in other cities during his travels. Rarity asked Rufus if he would join her and her important client for lunch at noon. Rufus agreed he was a bit famished.
When he met them at the Apple Cider Cafe Rarity introduce him to her client Maki Hooves. Rufus recognized those black eyes and that smirk anywhere. "Spectra?" he asked.
The alicorn just smiled and said "No, here I am Maki Hooves."
Rarity looked confused "You know each other?" she asked.
"Oh shi's an old friend from back home." Rufus said.
"I am glad you finally found someone you know. Now about lunch." She lifted the menu with her horn magic, "You have got to try there BLT, Bell pepper Lettuce and Tomato."
