I got Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze as my Platinum club Nintendo reward a few days ago...I was a little worried. I haven't played a DKC since the SNES days and just wasn't sure how it was gonna be.

I got it mostly because I saw Dixie there...and was excited. So now, fast forward, I've downloaded the OST and got almost 100% on it. It's so much fun and I'm not at all unhappy with it...So I decided to draw my favorite boss, so far. He's pretty cool and I liked fighting him. (And, of course, the music.)

Happy to be the first fave of this, 'cause this game is AMAZING. I love how they re-worked the KONG letters to be something a bit more important than simply 'extra lives', and the music is amazing.

I agree! It was a big change to me cause I really had no idea what they were for at first...Then I collected them all in one world and that's when it clicked. The "K" levels are really fun. I spent 30 minutes on the bopping one...where you have to bounce off enemies. xD

Agreed, the music is absolutely wonderful. The remixes of original DKC music really hits it home for me. That touch of nostalgia is just great.

I'd recommend it. The whole game. It's really good. But it can be really hard, too.

Good - a DKC game SHOULD be hard. XD let's hope that the upcoming Starfox game is challenging, too!

I never got into Starfox. I have the first two games. And they're fun. Just not really my thing. xD
