Perhaps the FA to IB tool (which can be used selectively) or a bulk upload might be useful?

Oh good lord this might exactly what I need.

Of course with the first, it's restricted to the file sizes which are on FA already; but you can edit the submission's files to replace them with larger copies before publishing if you wish.

Awkwardly enough, I'm running into a different issue entirely! I can't remember my password for this site, and the password reset feature isn't working right now, so it looks like I'm stuck doing this by hand for the moment. xD

Wish me luck getting this uploaded manually or getting the password issue fixed. Thanks a million for the converter link though, that'll be great help in the future!

Well, if you're automatically logging in here, it should be in your browser settings.

Alternatively, you can reset your password - as long as the email is valid!

The email that was sent was the issue; It went to my inbox, but the code it had was invalid. But the browser settings worked!

Oh, and be sure to review the content policy; some things FA permits, IB doesn't (and vice versa).

Would a human appearing cambion (part human / part demon) be too much?  http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15843999/ I've not had issues in the past with any of my other semi-human appearing characters, but this one is more of an edge case so I figured it'd be wise to check

The short answer is yes, it would be considered essentially human.

What we're looking for is whether a reasonable person would see a character to be "human, with additions" vs. "a non-human with certain human-like adaptions". Key to this are structural features which show a character to not be human, especially those which require more effort than just drawing ears or a tail on the outside of a human - such as digitigrade legs, fur covering significant parts of the body, horns or wings (especially when closely integrated into the skeletal structure), etc.

In this case, the only such feature is the genitals; there are women with breasts that large, although it is highly unusual, and we generally don't consider the size of genitals or a mixture of sex characteristics to be a meaningful difference for the purpose of this rule (in part, because there are so many people doing futa art, and many other sites catering to it).

Such work may be posted as a cropped preview linking off-site for the benefit of watchers, but the preview itself must not show genitals and must be plausibly non-sexual (i.e. no sexual fluids, genitals or arousal, and no naked characters between each other's legs). In the linked case, the top-left and bottom-right panels would be fine to show here, as would the upper half of the top-right panel.

The main reason we do this is that there are criminal laws in some areas relating to depictions of fictional characters which "appear to be" human, despite the fact that some of the physical characteristics shown are not human. As a site dedicated primarily to animal-based characters, we don't want to spend a lot of time deciding on whether specific work meet those criteria.

A secondary reason is that human porn is quite popular, and it's not really fair to spend our donors' resources on that when they intended to support furry art. :-)

And yes, some of your other characters are close. If they came up in a ticket we might have to take a closer look. We would give you the opportunity to make any necessary adjustments at that time, without impacting your other work or use of the site.

Also… if you're looking to enhance the "level of furriness", as it were, I strongly suggest looking at the animals you're trying to depict and seeing how their bodies differ from humans. Often you can incorporate features which are decidedly non-human without too much effort. There are a bunch of tutorials out there for drawing animals, and some specifically for furry characters. :-)

Thank you for the clarification on the issue, and for the reasonable explanations of why the limitations are there, but I'm afraid I'm not interested in totally redesigning my characters to make them appear furry-er :P For now I'll avoid uploading pictures of Emily unless I decide to crop them down to link offsite. I'll stick to uploading characters that I know should be safe, and if someone takes issue with the content of my gallery I'll discuss it with them then.

Thank you again for linking the FA2IB app; it's been a huge help. I'll work on getting them properly updated and set to visible over the next few hours
