It's not horrible. It's a cheesy B-game. If you were able to put up with Shadow the Hedgehog you'll be fine with Sonic Forces.
• Very simple and easy gameplay • Story is crappy fanfic but who ever played Sonic for story • Character customization is very underwhelming in terms of content • Relies too much on cinematics
The PC version was crashing at stage 3, but this appears to have been fixed. (I think it was a Steam Cloud sync error.)

Glad I passed on it then. Funds are limited and didn't look worth the asking $40 price tag. Then again you could do worse...like Bubsy. @.@ I like challenge in Platforming games; main reason I play them.
