So I haven't written any journal posts in a very, very long time. I don't know who loves or hates that, but I feel like I need to vent right now.
After 12 years of employment with the same company, I am now officially unemployed.
Job hunting is way more challenging that I remember it being years ago, but I have friends and family that are helping me while I figure out a new path, and I couldn't be more grateful to them for everything.
The emptiness and lack of purpose is absolutely starting to get to me though.
I'm going to try to be more active here and create and post more artwork to try and keep myself focused on something as opposed to simply allowing my depression to eat away at me. Having a good supply of anti-depressents can only go so far.
To anyone who got this far, and to those who even bothered to read this journal at all; thank you. I'm not a terribly social person, but I appreciate you taking a few moments to care about this even slightly.
