I just think it fits here:

Or put another way - don't feed that wolf...he'll never leave you alone.

I'm trying to decide if there is similarity,... and I can see, it is almost the same, but still different.
I decided to feed the wolf. :D

Okay, after thinking for a while I have a question:
Would you do something, to make a stranger happy if it wouldn't make you more tired?
The stranger can be a wolf, a fox, or anyone else.

Tough question.  I think it depends on how much value you put on that stranger.

Okay, now that's a tough question, I'm trying to decide the value.

The value of the outcome is also to consider
The wolf was tamed a long time ago
It evolved and now exists the best friend of humankind

You don’t need to have the intention to get something back, but it is wiser to show kindness.
If you get something back, it will have far more value, because it stems from you.
A loaf bred is maybe nothing of value for you, but the hungry will remember the kindness.

The value of the stranger is never visible in those moments.
It’s like a lottery, but the difference is that you don’t get money but other valuable perks.
There is value in anything.
Such a broad question is so difficult to answer. Especially if it’s not in your main language 😁

Maybe it takes part of what makes us a society and not just indivudial people living their life.

Exactly! Life is not a competition or a business, it is not necessary to do everything for convenience.

It may never leave you, but did you tame it?

And why not?

It's framed as it can be a good thing or a bad thing, but really, only in the context of other people's perspectives... You'd not have tamed it if you didn't feel it wasn't worth the effort.
