Hello, I'm back.

Wow, nearly a year.  So, might be asking what I've been doing.

Well for starters, I got a new PC... well, new is a relative turn.  Yeah, I can get Win 7 to work, but when it comes to anything in regards to the internet it just Blue Screens.  So I had to get a replacement, and thank god my local computer shop sells refurbished builds, managed to grab one for 300.  Comes with a Firepro W41000 2GB graphic's card (which I updated later to a RTX 3060), and the motherboard supports DDR4 Ram (which my Win 7 PC didn't), and registered copy of Win 10; the only weird thing about it is that it's based off of a server build, so I have like 8 slots for ram, a proprietary power supply (two options of 550w or a 700w), and it only takes Xeon processors (at first a Xeon E5-1620v4, I later upgraded it to a Xeon E5 2687 Wv4) but I can run Cyberpunk 2077 well beyond 60 (or just at 30 with Ray Tracing on).

But I'll be making another PC this year, this time for Linux, for security reasons.  It'll be a little expensive but I think it'll be worth it.  As for my Win 7 PC, that's just going to be a legacy PC just like my Win XP machine.

So I got a new job.  Not saying my old job at the airport was bad, being able to fly around the world for a dollar makes it worth it.  It's just that the reason why I joined was the reason why I quit.  My whole view with work is safety and security above all else, there are rules set in place, let's find out what those rules are and why; works with me, but that's not how everyone thinks.  Too many new hires, too many people who took the rules for granted, and me being there and not doing anything about it felt like I was support these people, so I left.
Instead I got a job near by.  30 min walk, has a union, can work part-time, just what I want.  Yes, I did tear some ligaments at the last part of work which put me in an accident, so this year I'm vouching for less hours so I don't push my body so much.

Let's see, what else... art has been slow.  Just trying to pay off the one's I owe, which I did mostly.  Been at FA for a bit, things I like about it, things I don't, but I see it's place.  I've done discord commissions sometimes, heavily involved with mods for a game called Beat Banger: https://bunfan.itch.io/beat-banger-legacy . really like that game, always open to getting more mods for it.

D&D is going well, got a few games going.  My home campaign is dead though, alot of it was based on a dragon queen of sorts, then lo and behold Dragonlance comes out.  So I think I"m just going to do a prebuilt small game in the future I think, regardless of what the state of WotC is, I'm not going to let WotC or the internet for that matter tell me why I shouldn't have fun with D&D.

So what's ahead this year?  Well I'm coming back to here for certain, I think my break is over.  Probably more commissions, more commission mods hopefully, PC build, more D&D, and whatever else comes out way.  But in the meanwhile, I'm back.
