Sorry Guys

by
Looks like my latest pic was removed by IB for violating ToS.
They weren't too keen on the human hand that was in the pic. Yes a single hand.
If anybody cares to view the pic it was uploaded over at E6.
I'm not going to bother to re-upload a censored version of it. I don't feel the need to censor a hand.

One has to wonder what sort of wizardry the mods are messing with to be able to tell a human's hand from say, an anthro pig's hand.

Usually it's the tags themselves. Like, some people really put 'human' as tag.
Don't know if that was the case here, but I've just seen that before.
Meowmere

Doesn't exactly mean it's a laudable or reasonable policy.
If the solution for an artist to play make-believe, switching in some placeholder tag and going "wink wink", here is my new fantasy creature the "hew-mon", right guys?
Then we're entering the realm of self-parasitic bureaucracy.

Afaik it's a policy due to the country the main servers are located. Yeah, it sucks. I like human myself too and having to go to multiple sites because they all ban different things can be annoying. But it's not just an IB problem.
I'm just glad at least cub is here safe x3

I am hearing that the supposed logic is that they cannot moderate the "age of human characters". Which might have come about by some downright insane law regarding pornography depicting minors that can apparently be circumvented by an animal nose. That'd be some geriatric, out-of-touch politician's fault.

But I am not hearing why it's somehow easier to mod the "animalness" of a character.
Case in point, this very post that was clearly wrongfully removed.

I mean, according to the ACP the removal was just. The hand was human, the artist agrees it was human. And the ACP says no uncensored human can be with nsfw art.

But just like, a blurring of the hand + link to unblurred post would be fine. I see people post that all the time without issue.

It is absurd that the legality of an image can come down to whether the artist is willing to lie about what thought went through his head when he put down the lines.
But as always, their site their rules. Cheers.

i seen an art that was very obviously human, underage, with an animal part for legs. i reported it and the mods told me "its just on the edge of acceptable" like... dude... it was very clearly human and the artist didnt even tag it properly and the mods gave an excuse for that to.
their rules are so screwed up.

I didn't use any human tags. Just a tag for the rabbit character being depicted.
ShaneAndCo

That's why I said I didn't know about this one. I just have seen similar stuff happen before. Hence the "usually".

If a hand has fingernails that's usually a giveaway. And yes, you could have a non-human with fingernails, but the assumption is that they are human without more to go on. In this case the rabbit didn't have fingernails, and no other species were mentioned, so it was presumably a violation of the requirement to include keywords of all species, too.

A hand is not just a hand; it is a part of another character, and if that character is human they cannot be depicted as involved in a sexual situation.

Damn, don't tell the mods that all the generic, disembodied hands I've drawn and forgot to tag are actually humans in fursuits.
For legal reasons that was sarcasm.

So why is a disembodied human hand a violation, but a disembodied human penis not?
Seems to me like it should be the other way around.
GreenReaper
1 year, 2 months ago
Because a lot of furry characters have humanoid penises but not so many have humanoid hands with fingernails (vs. claws). In this case also the hand wasn't so much disembodied but on an arm with the rest of the character out of frame, although that probably wouldn't have helped if it wasn't attached because fingernails are such a strong indicator of humanity.

However, if other aspects of the submission such as accompanying text, keywords or comments from someone involved imply that the work features a human, it may fall under this policy.

You'd have to censor either the hand or the cub's naughty bits.
The server hosts don't allow humans and sexual cubs in the same picture. That odd little exception is the devil's bargain that keeps IB online. It sucks, but it's either that or IB no longer allows cub. It seems arbitrary, but that's how it's gotta be.

That sucks, but thankfully e621 works as a backup. Great picture anyway mate.

e621.net
Just search for the artist's name.

Luckily all of the disembodied hands in MY pics are just anthros suffering from mange.
GreenReaper

This may be so but having taken a closer look, this work is clearly has an issue since the implication is that it is a human penis. We would be glad to host a preview that linked to the full work off-site.

Edit: The submission was republished after revisions.

Ah yes.... the implication...

The implication that you're insinuating implies implicitly, insinuating illicit imputations which incriminates indiscriminately...

...that implication?

Mods sure are having a time, huh.
A single hand.

What would I have to search in e621 for this pic…..

Search for "DEVO87"

It should be the first picture.

Yeah, I figured that's what happened. But it's okay, no fault of yours. I didn't think a hand would count as explicit human content either.

Your art is as lovely and cute as always, DEVO! I always look forward to your uploads!

AGH! quick hide your hands o.o; once they find out all this art is made by a human hand we're SCREWED! DX

since when were human hands a violation? thought it was just the naughty bits!

Wait, practical question here.  What was the hand DOING?
JamesWN
1 year, 2 months ago
The hand was spreading some "lips."

And per the content policy, humans can't be depicted in any sexual situation. ...Thummbnails are also supposed to be cropped to plausibly show a non-sexual situation, but I see this being ignored all the time. Never really check back on the submissions later to see if they're still there.
CrystalMendrilia

TOS here, if a HUMAN is involved sexually with ANYTHINg, it's bad. so if it were touching/anything on "lips" that'd do it.
