It's been so long since I've drawn at this point that I haven't tried to do something from scratch for years. I do take joy in basically kitbashing screenshots very deeply in order to make much more mature take on things while preserving the on model look of those franchises that I enjoy.
I haven't posted in years because of this tendency. While I see it as a nifty unique way to do art, other may view it as being a hack and not very artistic. I have been studying ways of coloring as well to help take these edits to the next level. In the past year or so, I have begun to really not care how folks view me doing that.
So I subscribe to the notion that even if it is a hack and not considered "true" art, I would post some of these anyway because somewhere out there someone may enjoy them, despite their origins.
I may use my coloring skills to color other artists artwork to post with permission from time to time. We will see. In the meantime, I just posted a Wheezie and Quetzal Dragon Tales screenshot kitbash edit to have them kissing. Go on over and take a look to judge for yourselves if it is worth it to post.
