The last few months of 2022 and the beginning of 2023 have proven to be very fruitful artwise. Projects are moving forwards, I feel I have been a lot more productive regarless of febuary (Sorry febuary...we kept getting sick, I still love you) and my personal goals are slightly moving toward progression. The reason though, why I feel compelled to write this, is because we all know that the cost of living has become somewhat ludicrous. Everything is getting so much more expensive and for some of us, it makes it difficult to get commissions or live off of arts. Last month, in my case, was horrible...due to some few days where I fell sick, or my kids did, having me stay home, I was barely able to get through the month. This brings me to the following... I am facing two choices at the moment. Either I start creating less arts and go back working full time, slowing down the amount of art I can produce, or I try to gun it and "Beg" for people to come and support me on patreon. Honestly I kinda don't want to do this, but, I want to ask everyone's opinion. Share it with me on discord or in DM, but I would certainly love to hear your inputs on those.
From here to August, I will try to promote my patreon a lot more. Trying to make it more interesting, keeping the current rewards as they are, but I want to create a new tier for those who wants to support some new projects and see something in return from them. Would you be interested in a 10$ tier where the reward would be to have group discussions about some projects, but also to have your OCs added in backgrounds of my various arts, as NPCs in videogames (Yes, I have a project for a indie kinky rpg videogame and a dress up game for now), as background characters in my comics and random evenings where I'd randomly pick OCs to draw until I get tired. I know 10$ is a lot to ask, but, there are also much cheaper tiers if you really want to help me out and continue doing something I truly love doing. Just as a reminder, my cheapest tier is 3$ a month, which goes yearly to 36$! For a little more than a hot cocoa, you can greatly help me keeping on drawing and creating more content. Without you all, I wouldn't be where I am right now. I've gambled it the past 2 or 3 years, working only 3 days a week, but my budget is running low, and I am sure some of you might be having hard as well. I don't want to force any of you to support me, but if you can, I would be incredibly thankful for it. AAAAnnnd....this did turn into begging. Sorry!
