For anyone wondering what happened to my Twitter account, here's the situation.

So last night at 8:04 p.m. on 26 May, 2023 I got an e-mail from Twitter saying my account - ziggy_fox_ - was suspended. The reason given was "Violating [Twitter's] rules against evading suspension." I have never had my account locked, banned, or suspended for any length of time. Not my main nor my AD (_poxfox). So "evading suspension" is not something I've ever done, nor could do.

From what I've seen this is some kind of glitch in Twitter's system for detecting this kind of stuff. A LOT of people, artists especially, had this happen to their accounts last night with the same reason given.

I have already begun the process of appealing this and having my account reinstated. How much is that going to help? I don't know. Most sites have bad customer support, and with the current state of Twitter I'm even less sure. I have not created a new account yet. But my AD, _poxfox, is currently dedicated to getting eyes on this problem. If you'd like to follow me there you can, but there's no art going up there right now. So
