been thinking of trying my paws at doing a Game. there doesn't seem to be much of a shortage of furry porn text games, but maybe i'll do it anyway.
not sure how i would implement/distribute it though. i'd like it to have the unfiltered terrific romp feel, but i feel like most filehosts would not like it. especially if i had a public git repository for it, which i would quite like to do. i guess if the source was small enough i could fit it in a .txt and upload it to inkbunny but that feels like a hack, and limiting... well, in the unlikely case that any of the zero people who read my journal posts know of a good hedonistic-borderline horror furry porn-friendly git forge/file host, recommend them in a comment if you want. thanks.
on the topic of implementation, it seems like most similar projects use twine, but i don't really want to use it because i don't like web browsers and have a burning hatred for javascript. i could also just create my own, which might be fun. if i am ambitious enough to go for a parser textadv instead of a choice based one, i could just compile the game into a z-machine rom, which would make it cross-platform (you could even play it on Apple Computer's super good walled garden iOS!!! and they hate porn!!!). if i do that i could go with ZIL (despite its archaic nature, little documentation or userbase, and ugliness) or inform? much to think about.
i think people might get annoyed typing actions in a furry porn game though? if it was just 'continue fucking' or 'cum' or something? that said, it might also make the game feel more like you (the player) actually are the player character existing and living in the world, rather than just someone clicking a choice box. that would probably work well with the themes i have in mind.
provide thoughts if you read this and want to. post your weirdest, most violent/gross/'creepy' fantasies if you feel like it and i might add them in the game. if i make the game. (i can barely finish a 1000 word erotica, so My Mileage May Vary)
also i might draw a profile picture? i don't really have an idea for one but i feel like i should have one.
