It doesn't matter whether it's good or bad. It doesn't matter whether it should exist or not. It's happening. There's nothing you can do to stop it. Get used to it. Learn to live with it, whatever you have to do.
Technology marches on. It's inevitable. Nothing can stop it, short of the collapse of civilization itself. Industrialization killed off a lot of jobs. Automation killed off a lot of jobs. AI will kill off a lot of jobs. Whether you like it or not changes nothing. Whether I like it or not changes nothing. It's coming. Inexorable. As progress always does.
If you resist and struggle, all you'll do is hurt yourself in the process. Adapt, overcome, survive.
I make no statement on whether AI generated imagery should be allowed on Inkbunny. This isn't about that. This is about artists freaking out about the potential of AI to damage their income. I get it. It's scary. But it cannot be stopped. The world is too big, too decentralized, for any amount of authority to step in and stop this. It's not gonna happen. Anger and denial will not help you. You must adapt. There is no other way.
