So, I finally got a chance to go to Anthrocon! And, I also finally got myself a fursuit! So, pretty much spent the majority of Friday in suit, both getting used to it in public and finding out what my limits for the heat were.

All told, had lots of fun! Now I just need to learn how to be a little less 'static' in suit, but I guess that will just take time.

best tip I can give you

just try to be yourself, relax and have fun, don't be afraid to be a little crazy and goofy and wave to the visitors and give lots of hugs once you forget you are in a suit, it gets so much more fun :)

I do miss the days of suiting

Oh, none of that was my problem. My problem is that the bulk of the suit seems to 'dampen' my movements. I would think I was posing a certain way, and look at some pictures and find out that no, I looked like I was posturing normally. I guess I need to exaggerate my movements a bit to compensate.

ah hehe, guess I misread, its all good :) yeah it can be tough to move in those suits
