"Years passed, and the town grew. More occupants, more houses, and a completed clock tower that became the town's landmark. Along with it grew our protagonist who, in a moment of nostalgia, returned to the hill of which he had first seen his new "home". Yes, the young Koopa had not only grew a little himself, but also grew a reputation. The town of Shellington, named by rather un-creative founders, had made several newspapers about it's resident thief. Such actions were not entirely unheard of in the Dark Land, even some-what a regular or encouraged practice. But, news was news, and some people just didn't like having their things taken from them. Survival was an instinct, and sometimes that lead to thievery. The young Koopa was simply having another day of walking down the streets, pilfering the odd morsel or two for breakfast. It wasn't that hard, people in the Dark Lands strive for anything of interest, and the local post usually keeps them occupied long enough for a decent pickpocket to get by. It was on one of these days that our protagonist overhears some interesting conversation on his daily routine. Words about valuable treasure peaked his interest, and so he listens for the voices of the two other Koopas in the alleyway, thinking that this situation may be just the ticket to boost his living. Little does our protagonist know that the two conversing Koopa's conversation slowly draws to a close and they grin to one another in a conspiratorial way..."
