This is the finalized version of the recent postings I've uploaded.
In this drawing, Trooper Dave Bear and Sergeant Alton Wolf are rescuing a beaver from his overturned 1958 Chevy...which is a two year old car at the time.
The Chevy was a Delray series, which in 1958, was even a lower price series than what the Biscayne was. The car was a modestly equipped version with very few frills and no A/C. It had a 235 cubic inch inline 6 cylinder motor with a Turboglide automatic transmission...It did have two tone paint being gold and white.
The beaver's wife was ejected from the Chevy shortly before it came to rest. She is laying on the ground near the 1958 Ford patrol car (the patrol car on the same side of the highway the overturned car is on).
As Dave Bear eases the driver from the car, Alton Wolf, who crawled up between the caved down ceiling and front seat of the Chevy, keeps the beaver level the best he can due to the beaver having two broken ribs...The confined space with the ceiling and roof smashed down close to the seat doesn't make Sergeant Alton Wolf's job any easier.
There was the smell of gasoline when the state troopers arrived on the scene, thus getting the occupant out of the car was a priority...Officers Alton and Dave weren't about to stand by and risk the beaver burning to death in the event if the car was to explode.
Fortunately, both the beaver and his wife are alive and conscious, and will make a full recovery in the hospital.
This is that final drawing I was needing as an in-text image for part 33 of Clarence Coyote and Project Courier...That part of the story will be posted this evening.
It will be rated adult due to depiction of injury and the presents of blood.
A SFW version will follow in a few days which will only make brief mention of the car accident and barring the details.
