Seriously though, the world premiere was actually real awesome! I'm loving how the controls are looking, so we can imagine how it'll feel on release. I mean they even took a few seconds to outright show how in control they were of Sonic, by walking in slow inches to running around this large environment. I know they are reusing Sonic's boost, but it seems to be nerfed quite a lot compared to the time from Unleashed to Forces. Plus Sonic is actually gonna be using melee attacking and combos. Pretty much as if the day and night stages of Sonic Unleashed were one, and minus the Were-Hog (Which I will admit without shame that I DO love and feels it's underrated, sue me! =w= Sonic Unleashed is awesome.), in which it made me feel like Sonic Unleashed all over again. We've yet to see more, so this is just the first pizza slice of the showcaing in June, so hope we can see the combat in action. But as for the exploration aspect: It's just purely amazing. And like everything, of course Frontiers will be needing polishing, but let's not forget that some things that seem missing are probably being saved for when the game itself releases. I will proudly admit that I am, nor do I ever WANT to be, part of the 'squad' that just bashes on Sonic just because they can and find whatever pathetic excuse they can make just to justify their actual hate and whanot. I will give my own criticisms I can agree on when possible, but not in the way of the 'bashing squad'. SCREW the bashing squad! =w=; But I AM gonna make a sort of follow-up to this in a while, because there IS something about these receptions of sonic games as of late that needs to be addressed. Not the kind of reception that's the mature kind where we all find the positives and negatives (unless the game's nothing BUT bad to say), but the kind where most individuals just make even this bloody game as well out to look bad, which is not okay. =w=; But I just wanted to express how I am really loving Frontiers so far already. I'm being cautiously optimistic like many, but genuinely speaking, I have hopes for this game. So cross your fingers Sonic Team, Sega, and even Iizuka can make this a miracle. ;w; Anyways I'll work on the follow-up pretty quick. Stay safe out there, and don't stop living life to the fullest, for life is too precious to waste. ;3 Have a good June everyone. I know I'll make it good myself.
