What if Sega kept the Madonna concept when creating Amy Rose? Design-wise, she has the body of hedgehogs from the "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog," like Breezie and Penelope. Her clothes match Madonna's red dress and hells. She also wears eye gloss and lipstick.
