You're right about that, but frankly I rather not wish for NSFW artists to get the shaft (not a pun) further by social media tbh. Twitter sucks, but wishing NSFW to not be on it anymore is a monkey's paw wish nowadays. Especially when almost all the other social media as is is trying to wipe a clean slate of porn everywhere. It sucks especially for commission artists that make business there. Tumblr already screwed similar people up regarding that years ago.

My account is private thanks to a stalker that won't leave me alone (you'd know that by the damn bio) and is still stalking me 2-3 years later and I'm a lurker that prefers to have friends and people that are adults follow, you don't have to be an ass about me hiding for my safety. Those 34 followers are from my approval of letting them and I'm fine being laying low there. I don't want to be seen on Twitter anyways if that wasn't fucking obvious. I don't even post much art there anymore (because I don't have anything to post there) and it's a personal rant/rambling account. I know how twitter works, I've been on it for many years and know its shitty algorithm, nor do I try to fight it, at least I know those few dozen followers see my art and like it. Last place I want to be popular is twitter anyways.
Twitter doesn't hide your account without consent either (not unless you get reported, which I never have), you own the account, and thus can do whatever. I don't care if my posts are not getting views there because the damn account is private and I want it to be. Twitter also doesn't block NSFW because everyone and their mother since the Tumblr exodus is posting porn there now and even getting away with irl illegal shit without getting banned. So thanks smartass.

This is an accurate reflection of 99%+ of the artists I see posting to Twitter, regardless of subject matter. Furry, anime, fantasy, horror, illustrations, comics, animations... it doesn't matter. You can look at nearly any timeline/profile and see the exact same mess:
"Muh pronouns! Muh social justice! Muh uniformed hot takes! Muh whining about classes that I take to avoid getting a job! Muh self-diagnosed DSM! Muh shilling for Patreon! Muh begging for handouts! It's literally the same mess, over and over and over again, just a different talking head or Twitter handle. If you look at who these people follow, you'll see a bunch of other people who have the exact same behavior as they do, networked into an incestuous hivemind of media-driven groupthink which vehemently and/or violently opposes anything that they view as "other," only to complain about how they're victims of outsider interference and harassment. They never stop to think that they're just sharing a brain with a few thousand clapping seals, passing it off when it's someone else's turn to shill a GoFundMe for cat food or a SFW Patreon or SubscribeStar account.
Meanwhile, R3D is literally just scratching out doodles for shits and giggles then posting a giant backlog of an art dump because "I should probably let people know that I'm still alive." Blinders on, nose to the grindstone, perfecting the craft and giving no fucks. Like a damn boss.
