Panky and Punkin - Part 3

Here's a short comic I drew featuring Pepé le Pew.

I like drawing Pepé for his character design, but his old cartoons are outdated in a lot of ways. If I drew him too much I might give the impression that I support those sexist themes, so here's my weird attempt at modernizing Pepé and making him a more respectful character.

I originally started drawing this in June 2021 for pride month but I never finished it, then I picked it up again this year and still wasn't able to finish the whole thing until now. After getting some feedback and heavily rewriting the story, I'm still not sure if it's any good or not, but I'll share it here so people can see it.

I had a lot of other ideas for scenes that got cut, including appearances by Daffy Duck, Lola Bunny and Slappy Squirrel. If people like this comic I might make a followup with some of those unused ideas.

"If I drew him too much I might give the impression that I support those sexist themes"

If people think that, ignore him. You just draw him cause you like him in other ways, nothing wrong with that. I mean, think about all the other cartoon characters that have been done way back in the early 1900s that have had quote unquote "problematic" things happen in their animations. Does it mean if we draw them today that it makes us racist/sexist/etc? Hell no! We draw them cause we like the character for other reasons and such.

But rant aside, it's great to see this comic has finally come out after all this time seeing it in producion. You have done a wonderful job.

Yeah, I agree. It's the same when I make Pepe artwork.

This is a great comic, by the way, Omatic.

Don't much care for the "toxic masculinity"' comment, but other than that, this was great! Would love to see a continuation!

Thanks!
This is one of my less popular pieces, but it's nice to see some people appreciate it.
