The Frozen Lands

Later on that evening we all sat around the large dining room table our bellies full thanks to Eris’s amazing cooking Mallow even let out a cute hiccup from some of Rain Storm’s homemade rootbeer as a knock at the front door was heard “i got it” i say and get up heading to the door placing a hoof on the door pulling it open as a cat stood before me she had a pink cloak around her body just leaving her head exposed her long white head fur with two long strands on the left and right of her face with ref tips “hello are you, Page Turner?” she asked and i nodded “thats good my names Silver Lay Dess told me to meet her here” she says as Dess waves to her and Silver smiles and sniff’s the air “oh did you all have dinner already?” she asked as her stomach rumbled and i chuckled “hehe sure we have plenty of leftovers come on Silver Lay” i say and she comes in and nuzzles my cheek “hehe just call me Silver” she says and i smile “well than you can just call me Page”
A little later Silver smiled now with a full bellie and a smile on her face as Dess holds up her left hoof and a flash of light appeared a Ghost but this one was deferent compared to Lillie’s and Mallow’s Ghost’s this one was bright silver in color the glowing eyeris was a light blue and in the shape of a sun as for the shell of the ghost it was silver as well two short arm on the top and bottom and two short ones on either side of the ghost core just above the core was a gold eye with the same sun pattern as the glowing one
The ghost moved around looking at all of us then focusing on Aloy and i “greetings my name is Ralsei i’m Ms December’s Ghost” he says with a cherry voice as Dess clears her throat hooves held togather “okay now that were all here feed and happy its time to get down to business “ she says and the room feel silent as Dess looked to Aloy and i “now Page Aloy i know you two have a lot on your plates helping to run this settlement with your family and trying to find a back up copy of Gaia i talked to the Vanguard Council and Ikora wanted me to tell you that she has tasked her Hiden to research and find some place a copy of Gaia may be housed “ she says as Aloys eye lit up “thank you Dess” she says as Dess smiles and looks to me “and Page i also want to thank you for giving me some information on this Ai Hephaetus and Hades that was the source of the machine deragment but it sounds like you and Aloy stoped Hades so that just leaves Hephaetus” she says as i nod but i still had this funny feeling thsat something wasnt right with how Aloy and i bet Hades
Dess looks at her Ghost Ralsei and nods to it as the Ghost lets down and a beam of light came from his eye as a holo map appeared on the tabel top showing the great valley and our settlement then it moved north and stoped on the town of Mammoth’s Lakes “this is our starting off point we land at this parking lot rear a place called the village a smal shopping and condo center ware the hidden have have set up a base camp for us to work from” she says as the map moves up and stops on a valley “and this is ware were going this valley” she says as Aloy chimes in “yeah i know this place the Banuk call this place the Frozen Lands its a proven grounds a sacred place” then i chimed in “and they dont take too kindly to outsiders thankfully Aloy and i helped a Banuk Shamen get back to her tribe and she gave Aloy and i a pendent that would alow us to enter their lands” i say as Dess nods “i see and would you and Aloy be willing to help us get into The Frozen Lands?” Dess asks as i look to Aloy and she nods to me and i do the same to her “NO you won’t”
came the voice of Rainstorm “Page do you know where your going that place also goes by The Cut?” he says and i nod “yes i do Rain i know that i have been there before Aloy and i both” i say “well little Brother did you know the rummers that there is a Zebra legionnaire by the name of Valus Forge he’s been arming his legion with some kind of new weapons one’s imbued with some kind of dark power” he says as Dess reached into her saddle bag as her magic aura pulled out a deadly looking SMG the stock of the weapon had what looked to be an orbate zebra-like hid the frame of the gun was made from a dark gray metal but the oddest part of the weapon was a small grate that coverd what would be the barrel from within came a silver and black light “what you heard was true Rainstorm but we have a little more in depth information than just rummers but this is your brothers chose Rain he and Aloy have done alot” Dess says as Rain looks at me a cooling fire in his eyes “and Rain i…..i need to help them Lillie told me that this guy is also selling some nasty drugs as well something called Red Rage that makes Fey-Kin go into some kind of rage and something called Twilight Dusk that can be deadly to Pony’s and Fur’s” i say as Rain looks away he and i both know that a friend of ours lost her Fey-Kin to some kind of street drug as Rain looks at me “o…..okay Page i understand you have your own Fey-Kin i know how close you and Rune are but pleas stay safe and come back to us okay?” he says and i nod and hug Rain and Eris
The next day
Aloy and i sat on my bed getting ready for the mission my armor on one side a small assortment of firearms holding up an SMG looking it over and placing it back in the gun safe and pulled out The First Curse and nodded to it with my magic slipping it into a holster than grabbed three more weapons Corsair’s Wrath a linear fusion rifle Royal Chase a scout rifle and finally the Deafening Whisper a breach loading grenade launcher tossing it into my nap sake as Aloy and I headed out of my room and went downstairs following the scent of food reaching the dining room we saw Dess Lillie and Mallow enjoying Erise’s cooking as Silverlay helped cook Dess looks up and sees Aloy and i “good morning you two “ she says lighting up her mug of tea with her magic as Aloy and i took a seat at the table and soon we had plats of food in front of us and tall smoothie’s as well thanks to Silverlay
sometime later we boarded The Forth Mark headed up the ramp storing our gear in the lockers I was still amazed at the size of the ship this thing was made for going on hunting trips or safari it had plenty of sleeping space a cabin for each of us getting to the flight deck we all strapped in as Aloy and i did the pre-flight “okay all systems are green Glimmer drive Eingens are spooling up to flight power levels you ready Page?” Aloy says to my right as i nod “yup lets do this” i say reaching out a hoof to the throttles and pushing them forward as i pulled the control yoke back lifting us off the ground Next, i turned the ship around to line us up with a clear flight path looking to my left i saw Rainstorm and Eris looking up at us holding the control’s i wiggled the ship a little something our mother showed us as a pegasus way of waving to someone on the ground as i pushed the throttles full forward and we were off like a shot
Sometime later we touched down at an old parking lot in the town of Mammoth’s Lakes by the condo complex called The Village as the snow was starting to fall and some very anger looking storm clouds were hanging over the mountain dark as night “okay everyone let's get inside” Dess says as we lower the boarding ramp and heading for the steps leading to the main
entrance slipping inside the main lobby was huge a desk was set up in the middle with a note on it walking up to it i saw that the note was for Dess taken it in my magic i floated it to Dess who takes it in her own magical aura with a wink to me as she opens it pulling out a gold key card and looks at a bank of elevators then at one that was roped off by velvet ropes “well looks like this one is ours hehe” Dess says with a giggle as we all head to the elevator as Dess inserts the key card a chime was heard as a ball droid roll’s out from a small compartment in the wall “greetings i am KO-5X but please call me K i will be your assistant a fellow from the Hidden has already booked the six of you into the best suite please follow me” the little droid says
The next day after an amazing night’s sleep we headed out for the mountain it didn't take us long to reach the top to find an encampment of ponys and furs most were Banuk earth ponies and a few unicorn’s Aloy and i talked to their leader a tall earth pony his long dread locks falling being his back from under a helmet made from machine parts “greetings Aloy and Page” we both blinked “how did you know our names?” we both say together as a unicorn comes running up and hugs the two of us “its so nice to see you two again” she says thank it clicks “Star Dancer is that you?” i say as she nods
After a bit of talking to Star and what turned out to be her father who we found out was named Rock we start our way down to the valley below as we walked i ran Rocks warring in my head “i can tell that the six of you can handle your selves in a fight but beware of the Striped ones they are using some weapons i have never seen before whatever it is it’s otherworldly” some time
Sometime later we reached the valley floor it was warm with a bit of a breeze blowing in from the south grass was green but the other half of the valley close to the minarets was covered in snow as dark clouds hung over them just than Dess’s ghost appeared next to her looking at the clouds than back at us “those aren’t normale storm clouds its ash from an active volcano it may be way the weather around her is so crazy” he says and disappears back into Dess’s backpack “okay so what do e do now its going to be nightfall soon and we need a campsite” i say holding up my pip-buck and bringing up the map looking around i saw something that looked promising “okay i think i found a place and….. it's not that far away” i say placing a marker on it as we headed out to the south part of the valley To a large stand of trees
The next day the sun shined bright as my eyes blink open and i was eye to eye with the cute fox cat named Frost Eyes the little light blue and black fox cat had sunck into Aloy and i’s bed and cuddled up with us i smiled seeing the young herm sleeping peacefully slipping out of bed i left the room the smell of cooking food draw me to the mane loge i found Midsnow cooking up breakfast as Dess was helping her oh i mene hir last night we found the place “The Cats Eye Resort” we run by a family of Chakat’s i had read about them in school they were made by the Ministry of Peace but that was all i knew about them i tooka seat as Dimond Stripe hades me a mug of tea to injoy “thanks Dimond this is just what i need” i say sipping the teah it was delushes making me think of home
Later that day we bed farwell to Midsnow and hir family telling them we would be back again making our way deeper into the valley we started to see signs of this this Zebra legion shell casings trees covered in bullet hols and the worst part was the bodys just left out in the sun and snow pony’s fur’s and machine’s alike as we walked my pipbuck keep picking up something some radio transmission some kind of beeps it sounded like morse code i tryed to de code it but it was hard the transmission would cut out now and than as we walked i got a few words all i got was “pleas help valley fire break” was all i told Dess and the others but i left one part out and i told Aloy the last few word’s were Maleware Damon and hephaestus than my name is Cyan Aloy looked at me wih worry in her eyes that night we camped in an old cabin we had picked up the trail of the Leagion or atlest a small team i was abel to see them with my binoculars thire were my mothers really fancy digitel kind that can zoom in “hows it looking Page?” came Silvers voice from my right taking the binoculars from my eyes “thire just sitting down their eating around their fire lookes like about five of them “ i say as she chuckles “nop six thires one behind a tree taking a leak” i look at her “how can you see them from this far?” i say and she smiles “i will tell you some time but for now get some sleep Page tomorrow we hunt” i nod and curl up next to Aloy and fall asleep
The next day Silver was right it was a hunt we hunted down the six zebra’s every last one Dess healed one so she can get some information from them we also found more of thoes odd guns wit the Taken core’s in them we had two SMG’s one Sniper Rifel and three auto rifle’s the Sniper Rifle was call “At Any Cost “ and the Aoto Rifles were called Gnawing Hunger the SMG’s were called Bug-Out Bag things were getting even crazier the Zebra’s even had a truck an old Milatray saplie truck it even had tank treads to help it move in mud or snow in the covered back
was what looked to be a realy radio antina set up as Dess came back “well looks like the Zebra’s are after some one by the name of Cyan” i look to Dess “okay so who is Cyan are they a pony a fur or a Fey-Kin?” i say as Dess smiles “well from what Ralsei just told me looks like Cyan is a Golden Age Ai she was the one in controlling of Fire Break station thats sapost to help keep the Long Valley Super Volcanon under controll but according to Ralsei she was shut down about three weeks befor the Final Day” she says as i looked at my pip-buck map moving it around i saw something “wait a sec you said that the Zebra’s are looking for this Ai right well my pip-buck has been picking up some odd radio transmission but looks like thires a radio relay tower about a mile or two away if we can get to it maybe we can find ware this transmission is coming from” i say as Dess looks at Aloy and i “okay Page you Aloy and Mallow go to the tower Silver Lillie and i are heading to a firewatch station thats just to the west closer to the mountain we will meet up their before sundown okay?” i nod as the three of us headed out to the tower
A bit later we made it to the radio tower but the zebra’s were already their it was a small team of five we were outnumbered so we had to fight them with our smart’s “okay i think i have a plane Aloy you and Lillie hide by thoes rocks down to the left of the tower i will stay up here and snipe them keeping their eyes on me” Lillie looked shocked at my plan “Page are you sure about this plan of yours i mean it would be safer if two of us stay up here to give you back up” i nod yes it would be safer but you and Aloy can move faster than i can once your in place i will start shooting than you two can add your own fire to mine and we can catch them in a cross fire” i say as Aloy nods “yeah good plan Page come on Lilie he knows what he’s doing” she says as the two girls head off i set up my sniper nest putting Died Man’s Tell next to me than my Sniper Rifel Over And Done With held to my shoulder in my magic looking down the scope i saw the zebra’s down below i saw Aloy and Lillie all set up in their firing spot i swiperd into my mic “okay here we go 1…….2……3….fire” i say pulling the trigger feeling the rifle buck in my magic’s grip
The fire fight lasted for five minutes or mabe only two but it felt longer coming down from my spot i saw the death the three of use delt out i had taken two of them down same for Aloy and Lillie walking past the body’s Aloy started going through them trying to find anything good as i headed for the small shack the lock was hard to pick but i got it open after a few try’s finding a small control room and control console pulling up a chair and powering it up thankfully it wasnt password locked “okay lets see…..map okay download that…..okay here we are dish extend command” clicking on a button to extend the dish’s i heard the gears start up as the tower extended up words and the dishes out words a deep from my pip-buck told be the map was downloaded flipping the radio on i heard the transmission load and clear now looking up at the view screen i saw right ware the transmission was coming from it was right under the Fire Watch station that Dess and her team was heading too “oh that must be ware Cyan is” i nod yeah and looks like Dess and the others are heading right for it” i say and kye my mic “Dess Silver someone pick up” i say as Silvers voice come on “yes this is Silver ow are you three doing?” “you guys need to stop that truck i found ware Cyan is shes right under that fire watch station “ i say as Dess’s voice cme on “what really how can that be?” she says “i’m not sure but it looks to be right we will come to you try and secure that station we will meet up with you as soon as we can” i say as the comes go slient and i look to Lillie and she nods as we head outside and see Aloy overriding a machine and mounting the Charger “i over heard your comes Page lets get going” she says just as an explosion rocked the land nocking Aloy off and killing the Carger in the blast looking past Aloy i saw a larg party of 30 zebra’s some of them were on viacels looked like old zebra milatirey Shadows Spectre even a Wraith its magical plasma energy mortar launcher out and and charging up “mount up we need to run now” i say as my sparrow appears next to me as Aloy jumps on with me and Lillie gets on her own as we speed away to the fire watch station
Run was all I was thinking about looking back i saw two Specters on our tail along with a Shadow the carrier was a bit slower than the Specters “Dess please tell me you and the others are safe we have company coming and there they have some real firepower out here” i say as we speed along “Page can you read me?” came Soul Silver’s “yeah i read you Silver are you all safe in the bunker?” i ask “yeah were fine Mallow and i are on our way to help out and we have some firepower of our own” she says as the fire watch station comes into view pushing the Firecrest’s eingens harder picking up some extra speed “okay Mallow lets go and give them some back up” i heard Soul Silvers voice come over the com’s as a bolder the size of a house split and moved aside reveling a larg launch tunnel leeding down as two three wheeled scout vesicles came out at full speed passing betwin Lillie and i a glimps of the drivers i saw Soul Silver in one and Mallow in the other
As we headed down the tunnel i head weapons fire and explosions comeing to a larg hanger i was amazed at what i saw their were four more of thoes tree wheeled scout’s as well as what looked to be four Sabre sky fighters even a Broadsword strike fighter seeing Dess at a door the tree of us came to a stop and or sparrow disappeared and Dess ran up and hugs the tree of us tight “thank the stars you tree are safe Lillie thires an extra Jackrabbit thats ready so go help your brother and Silver Page Aloy pleas come with me” she says as the tree of us head down a long set of steps leeding down to a set of larg matel doors and slip into the wall as we approached
Aloy and i’s jawes dropped as we entered the larg room the cercluler room deep almost like an ampatherter or lecture hall in the center of the room was a larg round object my mind reached “how did an Ai core get in here” just as i say the words a deeping sound came from some speakers in the room “Page Turner age 18 born may 12th in the year 309 after the wars end Aloy age 18 born may 13th in the year 309 after the war's end” the voice says as i was looking around my eyes catch a glimpse of two small little white ghost’s floating in the air close to the Ai core as soon as i saw them they disappeared around the other side of the room out of my site line just then a Soul Silver’s voice came over the com’s “guys bad news our jackrabbits are down were just down to us on paw and hoof and oh crap looks like their leader just slipped past us and is heading right for you so get ready” she says as the com cuts out “okay everyone we need to set up defenses and try and find out who this Cyan is that thire looking for “ i say as a beep sounds “well Page Turner your in luck i know who Cyan is” came the Ai’s voice as i turn to the Ai core “okay who is Cyan?” i say as a chuckle suns from the speakers “the Ai is Cyan” came a new voice “yes we have been helping her to keep this place safe” turning i saw the two little Ghost’s appear from the Ai Core “hello my names Twinkle” came the Ghost on the right “and i’m Dusk” came the Ghost on the left
Blinking a few times i was amazed at seeing two Ghost without a guardian let alone two the one named Twinkle turned to me as a light came from its center eye and played over me and disappeared “it…it cant be….your oh my stars it is Page your a Guardian” came Twinkle’s voice
“What me…a..a Guardian? BOOM” an explosion rocked the station hard “crap i think he’s blasting his way in” came Aloys voice “Cyan ware is his?” came Dess’s voice as i turnd to face the door that led to the Ai Core room un-slinging my auto rifle A Bad Run and aimed at the door i heard gunfire come from outside the door “auto turrets firing targets found five” came Cyan’s voice as more explosions came from the hallway “B-turret down A and C still working closing blast doors” came Cyan’s voice as a loud clang came from the door as a heavy blast door came down “ zebra’s are using rocket launchers……alert….alert A and C turrets down there leader is using some kind of grenade launcher that is that can degrade the auto turrets no telling if the blast doors will hold” looking at the door than looking at Dess and Aloy “Cyan is there a way we can get you out of here?” i ask
Cyan came “I’m sorry Page but no i am hard-wired into this stations system but there is an emergency escape hatch behind my core you five can use it i will self-terminate myself to prevent the zebra’s from using my systems too…” “NO” i say fury in my voice “i’m not going to let you do that Cyan this place needs you to keep it safe if your not here the super volcano that's right under us can go off and kill an untold number of lives we can still fight how meany zebra’s are left out their?” i ask as Cyan works “only three just the leader his sconed in camand and one other thire trying to blow the blast door open but with no luck but its only a matter of time tell that Grenade launcher degrades the door and they can blast it open” came Cyan’s voice she was right but i knew we can still fight maybe even win but looking too Aloy i could see the fear in her eyes looking to Dess i saw only determination in her eyes that was win i made my chose “okay Aloy you take Dusk and Twinkle and use the esc tunnel meet back up with Lillie Mallow and Soul Silver try and warne as meany as you can to get out of this valley not sure how long it will take before the super valcano goes up “
Dess looked at me in shock “page your crazy were not leaving you behind” Dess says and looks to Aloy “ Dess is right Page this is crazy were not leveing you behind” i shook my head “i know its crazy Aloy but this is the only plan i can come up with i….i love you so much i dont want you to die here pleas just SMACK” my right cheek was bureing from Aloy’s slap i was about to say something when Aloy came in a kissed me hard on the lips i felt my legs turn to jelly from her kiss “if..if your going to die her Page than we both will i wont leave you behind i love you your my mate and i will stand by you as you do with me if this is our end than lets make sure that Valuse and his Legone remember us i nodded but i saw a shock arrow in her quiver pulling back from her all i had to do was tap the arrow head on her and she was down with out even makeing a sound “i’m sorry Aloy but your far too important to loss” i say looking too Dess “pleas get her out of here Dess and tell her…i’m sorry” i say and Dess nods picking Aloy up in her magic and puts a hoof on my shoulder “good luck Page and…..thank you” she says and i nod as the blast door start to worp and sag
BOOM the blast door blow out into the room smashing a work station as a zebra comes in to the room a shotgun held in its muzzle it was the one that had the rocket launcher firing a long burst from my auto rifel took the zebra down but the last two came in using their fallen comrade as a shield and ducking behind two more work stations “hay i have too say you and your friends really took a beating out their most of my legion are dead i have to say you guardians are really something but i have a mission to do The Witness demands that this Ai must die but i will make you an offer come over to our side join the witness” he says “in light thire is only failure only death in darkness thire is only strength only victory only life” came the other zebra’s voice it sound female “well that all sounds really good very compelling” i say readying The First Curse to take a shot at who ever comes out of hiding first “really? Well thats good to hear that some guardians have brains in their heads for once i’m coming out Values come on lets welcome our brother into the flock”
came the female zebra’s voice taking a deep breath i readyed myself before i moved i did something i hadent done scene we lost mom and dad i prayed “pleas goddess Faust goddesses Bonnie let my aim be true in your names i pray” i say moving out of cover every thing moved so slowly The First Curse held in my magic looking down the site i fired first on the female zebra the look of shock on her face as i fired she when down in a heap moving my aim to the other to Valus he had a look of rage on his face i fired twice than three times the fires shot grazed his head takeing out his left eye the other two hit scentermass i saw him go down lowering The First Curse as he fell butt he came back up again the falling zebra’s Rocket luncher held in his hooves but he wasnt aiming at me but for Cyan’s Ai core moving as fast as i could i saw him fire the rocket fires from the tube streaking right for Cyan’s core aiming again but to my surprise S.T.A.S kicked in i saw the rocket hanging in mid aire frozen in that moment it was the first time that sates worked on my pip-buck seeing the hit % was at 100% i knew i was too close the explosion would either hurt me really bad or kill me out right but i did not hesatate kicking on it with the last few rounds in my gun i hit execute and time stqartec back up and The First Cures rorad fireing the last fw round’s hitting the rocket next thing i know i was flying back words pain all over my body landing in a heap i felt broken ever thing hurt ears ringing blood running down my face “PAGE!!!!!” came a voice it souded like Aloys voice but i couldent move my head to look her face filled my vision “page page on my gods and goddesses what happend you dumb ass stabel pony” she says tears running down her cheeks “a….Aloy? Is…..is Cyan safe?” i say even my voice souned weak “yes shes okay dont talk i can heal you” she says digging in her saddle bag for a healing potion “YOU!!!!!!” came a scream as the female zebra ran at Aloy nocking her down i heard breaking glass as Aloy fought the zebra just then i saw Twinkle’s ghost shell appear in my vision “Page hang on i can fix you but first do you want to save her? Save Aloy she cant beat that Zebra on her own shes using some kind of drug that made her stronger than normal but you can save her Page you are my Guardian and i’m your Ghost do you accept me Page do you accept the gift of the light do you accept the power of the light will you protect all those under the light?” she says and i give a very weak nod “very well your about to step into a whole new world Page get ready”
Twinkle says as my vision goes black but than a blinding light shines down on me cutting past the darkness and…..i feel grat no pain i…felt lighter but something felt off my ammor was different i had a long duster on over a white tunic and black pants thire was a weight on my left hip looking down was a sling like bandalear on it was cylinder’s like the kind you would have for a revolver or hand canon it was than that i felt a new weight on my back reaching back with my magic i pulled the weight from my back and broat it forward “WOW thats amazing so your a hunter but you jumped right up to Gun Breaker congrats Page “ Twinkle says as i look at the gunblade was white with black trim a larg rovolver like clender like the ones on my sling bandalear just than my mind snaped back “oh no i have to go and help Aloy Twinkle can you take me back?” i ask and Twinkle chukkcle “your still their Page all you have to do is wake up” she says as the light grows brighter and my eyes open i was handing right ware i fell every thing was back to normal no pain blinking i say Aloy fighting with the crazed female zebra drawing my
gunblade and ran to help her “Aloy headsup” i call to her as she looks and sees me her eyes go wide than go back to the zebra getting her hind legs under the zebra she kicked up with all her might knocking the zebra into the air as i ran as fast as my hooves would take me and slashing at the zebra i called out “Keen edge” calling out as the attack hit the zebra sending her flying before disappearing in a flash of soler flam’s standing firm my gunblade held at the ready looking around for anyother enamyes i felt someone blow into me hugging me tight “PAGE my gods and goddesses your alive” she says as i look at her smileing seeing her face and that she was okay but out of the corner of my eye i saw the last zebra Vales standing their his Grenade launcher held in a shaky hoof “impressive very impressive hard to beveale that a none guardian bessted me but i will not let this san…BOOM” came a loud bang from my left side looking down i saw Aloy holding The First Curse in her magic a trail of smoke from the barrle “WOW nice shot Aloy i thouht you hated gun’s?” i say as she looks up at me “i dont hate them Page i just dont like useing them it just feels off to me” she says as i walk over to Vales’s body and wow Aloy got him right in the head right betwine his eyes not an easy shot i saw his Grenade launcher sitting next to him taking it up in my magic i liked the feel of the weapon i say a name carved into that side “Witherhoard” “okay well i bet you have a fun story Witherhoard i look forward to finding it out” i say to my self as i put the weapon in my pack and head bck to Aloy who tosses The first Cures back to me as i holster the handcannon i hear a gasp from behind Cyan’s Ai core as Dess
Mallow and Lillie come out “WOW Page you look amazing,” Lillie says and Dess eyes me up and down “so your a gunbreaker thats pretty amazing congrats Page blushing i rubed the back of my head “thanks everyone i’m just glade to be alive,” i say as Cyan chimes in “yes Page as a real hero but now that were safe we need to take care of one last thing Fire Break Station and the mslware damon that Hephaestus used to take control and build a cauldron to build new machins” Cyan says as a halo gram appears in mid-air showing the whole valley showing our Fire Watch Station than zoomed in on a set of three Spiers “this is Fire Break Station now knewen as Cauldron Epsilon the place is heavily gauraded but we do have a way to dstroy it in the hanger bay of this station we have two broadsword bombers carrying four heavy bunker-buster bombers each now two pilots can fly the broadsword’s and two other pilots can fly the Saber’s and give support to the bombers” Cyan says and i rub my chen with a hoof “okay Dess you take one of the Sabre’s have Aloy as your back pilot Lillie you and Mallow take Sabre number two and Silver you and i will take the two Broadswards and we will just have to hope that e can do this with only three ships” i say as a new voice chimes in “well you may want to look your math over again because i think your missing one more ship” we all turnd an saw figure in the door way he was an EXO With blue looking plating a cloak on his back and a handcanon on his belt “Master Cayde” came Silver’s voice as she bounded up to the hunter master and huged him “hay hay not whale i’m trying to look cool and saveing the day”
Sometime later our four ships speed across the night sky of the red meadow valley heading to the minaret's ware the Fire Break Station was Silver and i held back behind the two sabre’s and Cayde-6’s ship mandate of straight but we weren't alone Cayde had some mercenary friends of his along for the ride and they had gotten the bases two Kodiak’s up and running as well as some other vehicles but went on ahead of us to set up “Cayde its Drifter were already down here were using The Mammoth as a command base oh and by the way, i’m keeping this it will look so awesome on The Derelict” Drifter says “oh that is BS Drifter i called dibs on The Mammoth back at the station” the two bickered back and forth “are they going to biker like that the whole time?” came twinkle’s voice “i’m not sure but it is pretty funny” i say just as an energy blast fly’s by my broadsword “WOW incoming everone eye’s up” i say as Soul Silver and i pulled up to get out of range looking down i saw that sme of the machin’s had turnd themselves into AA gun’s and were fireing on us thankfully it didn't last long as a massive explosion erupted in the mits of the machines as parts flow every ware “okay kids your way is clear go blow that thing up like hero’s do haha” came Drifter’s voice as we turend back on out bombing course
Moments later the tall spires of the minarets came into view the sun was just starting to rise at our backs so we knew we did not have much time before the Glint hawks Sunwings and storm birds would be up and airborne “okay everyone just like we planned Cayde clear us a path Dess Lillie same thing keep each other safe” i say as the three ships ahead of Silver and i go into a shallow dive and start firing their weapons clearing out the machines “okay Page Silver your all clear give them hell” came Cayde-6’s voice over the coms i look over to Silvers bomber and nod to her “okay Silver lets go” i say putting our Broadsword’s into a shallow dive looking at my HUD i saw our target it was 20 yeards into the station arming my bunker busters the drop point came up fast pulling the trigger on my flight stick i felt the shuder in the sky craft as the bombs released pulling up and away i watched the camera as i saw the land and bore into the rock and than a big explosion rock and fire flying high into the dawning sky looking down i saw the hole into the cauldron’s core room but i saw something massive hanging in a blue fild of magic energy my mind was racing “okay Silver drop your bomb right in that hole and do it fast i see the core do it fast before that machin wakes up “ i say as i watch Silvers bomber go into a dive right for the opening and the two arcan energy bombs drop from the open bay “everyone get clear” i say and pull up and away just as the twp mega spell bombs whent off in a massive explosion of arcan enrgy and mana enrgy it was both scary and yet beautiful too see all the mixing of colors “yahoooooo Page we got it” came Silvers voice over the coms as i nod “yeah looks like we did “holy shit kids look at that you all really know how to blow stuff up” came Drifters voice “WOW now thats an explosion dunk” came Cayde-6’s voice “amazing job Page same to you Silver” came Dess’s voice slumping back in my flight seat i took a deep breath and let it out “oh man that was crazy” i say “yeah your telling me” came Twinkles voice next to me “wait…..i’m picking up something from down below”
My mind starts racing as ilook down below as the explosion starts to settle and clear tilting my sky craft to port a little i look down and was that? Next thing i know a massive shape fly’s past my craft its passing almost knocked me off balance getting the craft under control again a large shadow came over my craft looking up my heart almost froze what i saw was a massive bat-looking machine looking closely i saw that this machine had the cauldron’s core held in its claws my eyes and the machine's eyes meet and i knew then and their that we were in for a fight “guys our work is not done just yet” I say grabbing the flight stick with my right hoof the machine saw wht i was about to do and dove fast and i went into a dive after it squeezing the trigger i let fly a burst of fire from the twin machine guns the machine was fast doing a short roll to starboard to escape my fire cursing i rolled with it switching to missiles “come on give me tone” i say as the lock on tone rings out pulling the trigger as two missiles streak out flying to the machine next thing i know the bat-machine unfurls its wings and and starts to twist in the air flying back being me as the missiles converg and explod “what the hell” i say “what the shit was what that” came Silvers voice as she lets loss a burst of machine gun fire at the bat who slips past the burst “thats a Dreadwing guys “came Aloys voice from Dess’s Sabre fighter just than Cayde-6”s fighter sliped in and fired a bareag of missiles that the Dreagwing doged with ease and than dropped some thing that exploded damaging the fighter “dame it” came Cayde’s voice “sorry guys i’m out” came Cayde’s voice
Cursing again i ran through options in my mind trying to figure out how to stop this thing one came to me “okay guys it's just down to us we can stop this thing” i say as i slide forward flanked by Dess and Lillie’s Sabre fighters “okay Dess fire your machine guns than Lillie you fire yours as soon as this thing starts to roll away” i say as both say okay as Dess fires her guns at the Dreadwing that rolled to starboard just as Lillie let loss with a with her own guns and it took a few rounds to the back knocking off some of it’s parts but most importantly it let go of the core and when it did i opened fire with a long burst from my machine guns the heavy caliber rounds ripped the core apart and it exploded thankfully Silver was on point and fired two missiles destroying the Dreadwing in mid-flight we all cheered as we headed back to base landing our fighters we were greeted by Cayde Drifter and the others
Two day Aloy and i sat in Cyan’s Ai core room talking to her she told us that the super volcano would stay under control now that she had all her systems back and was working again and later i found out that now Aloy was a new light bearer like me but her ghost was unable to find a class that best suited her for now but that was okay we had all the time in the world to find out
Epilogue
Three weeks later Aloy and i say in the control room of The Light House Station when a beep came from one of the workstation consoles sliding over i saw it was a video call pushing the button as Dess’s face appeared on the screen “oh hi Dess how are things?” i say as Dess smiles “good to see you too Page i have some info for you and Aloy looks like The Hiden have found some info on a backup of Gaia but your not going to like where it is” she says as i look at Aloy “its okay fill us in Dess” Aloy as Dess nods “okay its in the forbidden west its located in an old Zero Dawn station called The Shell the place was set up as a safe haven” Dess say’s as a location pops up on the screen looking at my pip-buck i found the place on the map and set a marker on it as Dess looks at Aloy and i “and one more thang we have been getting reports of a strange red blight like plant life thats been sprouting up all over the place” she says as i look at Aloy “yeah we have seen it too burning it seems to halt it for a fewdays” i say as Dess nods “okay we will try it on our end but still you two need to find that backup and get it working again butt still pleas stay safe out thire” she says as the screen goes blank looking up at Aloy “okay looks like we have some planing to do Aloy were heading to The Forbidden West” isay as my mind raced i just hope we can find her in time
