During her travels with her father, Mehb, and her mother, Robyn was playing in the woods in her wolf form, taking in the fresh air of the wild forest. But while she was playing, she noticed a boy exploring on his own. From his appearance he seemed to be about her age, with short blonde hair and myrtle green eyes. From his actions it seemed like he was collecting herbs and food, perhaps he lived in the village nearby and was running an errand. As Robyn observed the boy out of curiosity, a sudden mud slide occurred. Small but dangerous enough for anyone who might be caught in it. The two ran for safety as the mud made it's way through the forest pathway, but as where Robyn could easily outrun it the boy wasn't so gifted. Robyn turned to see that while running away from the mudslide he tripped on a tree stump and hit his head on the ground. She rushed to rescue the unconscious boy, carrying him to safety as she fled from the mudslide with him on her back. As it turned out being a wolf has lots of perks, including increased strength. As the mud slide came to an end and the two were in a safe and secluded place, Robyn let the boy down on a nearby tree. He was unconscious, but still breathing. Robyn couldn't bear to leave him by himself, and chose to stay by his side, resting her head on his leg until he woke. After some time passed, he began to open his eyes, groaning from the pain while holding his head, trying to unblur his vision. Robyn noticed this and her face lit up with excitement and joy as she watched him regain his senses. As his vision cleared, he noticed Robyn sitting beside him. His first instinct would be to run at the sight of a wolf, but the last thing he remembered was the mud slide and being knocked out. Additionally, this wolf seemed friendly and happy to see him so chances are she wasn't thinking about eating him. It was almost as if she was waiting for him to wake up like she was concerned for him. He soon realized that this wolf was the one who rescued him and tried communicating with her. He was hesitant as she was still a wolf, but he slowly placed his hand on her head and petted her gently. Robyn wagged her tail in delight as she felt herself being petted. It seemed while in wolf form she also adopted the basic pleasures and desires of a wolf, including being petted by a friendly human. The boy gave a small smile as he appreciated the company of his new companion, grateful to her for saving his life. The boy stood to his feet, kneeling down to her to properly meet the wolf face to face. He seemed curious about interacting with her and tried starting a conversation. After a few playful quibs, he introduced himself and revealed his name to be Gaeb. Robyn sat and listened to him as she began to find him quite interesting. But as he spoke, she heard her father's voice calling for her. It was time to return to her family. Gaeb noticed how she was being called and figured it was time to go their separate ways. Gaeb thanked Robyn for saving his life, giving her one more quick pet. Robyn felt charmed by Gaeb's friendly nature and gave him a small smile. And to his surprise, she gave him a quick lick, or kiss, on the cheek. Robyn began to make her way back to her group with Gaeb watching her send herself off. She turned to look back at Gaeb one more time, with that same charmed smile, and left his sight to return with her pack. Perhaps it was luck or fate that the two crossed paths, though it seemed unlikely they would meet again. Little did they know that this wouldn't be their first or last encounter, as a story of friendship was about to unfold between Robyn and Gaeb.
