I think you have to do it from your userpage/profile. At the top it says Favorites, Pools, Shouts, etc. If you click on Pools, you can add a new one, and once you've created it, you can add images to the pool.
I think*. I don't have artwork on IB, so I can't actually test it. But if it works, it'd also be a suitable place to put all the animations, nicely grouped together.
