I've been binge watching this silly little Russian cartoon for some time now.

Nu, Pogodi (translated to Well, Just You Wait) is a Soviet cartoon that was produced by Soyuzmultfilm. The show mainly focuses a hooligan wolf (Volk) making attempts to eat a hare (Zayats) but mostly failing. It's obvious that the show was inspired by Tom and Jerry but became extremely popular for a long time.

One of the few good things to have ever come out of Soviet-era Russia, IMO. I have a Blu-ray (in Russian, which is unnecessary to know since most of the cartoons are mostly wordless) with 16 of the Soviet-era shorts, including the original "pilot" cartoon.
