Oh... I don´t know if that was a good or bad idea.  xD

On my case my dad borrowed me the computer and put some videogames, some worked, others not, example Doom and wolfenstein don´t worked.  :/

But worked Prince of persia, battle chess, stunts, and others of ms dos I have not idea how are called, only I remember one, for example, was about a karate rabbit...

I do remember my dad playing the original Prince. I wanted to try too, but I was not able to even locate the sword :) That game was way too hard for the wee youngster I was back then. The Lion King I could at least get to the Graveyard level, and Aladdin I got to the Cave of Wonders. Good times.

You can pass the level without the sword, only you need trick the guard (is a bit complicated) and done, on level 2 you will have the sword.  xD

That videogame of The Lion King was very hard too, I arrived to the canyon were the stampede happen. Jeez I never understood how to pass it.

Same with Aladdin, the Cave of Wonders and nothing else, I never was able to finish it too.

Funny thing is, when I replayed them years later, I still didnt get far in Prince of Persia, finished the whole Lion King in I think about 3 hours? And got to the last level of Aladdin (Jafar's Palace) with not much problem. Still couldn't beat it though.

Another hard game I fondly remember: Claw. The last three levels are just arrgh... When I finally got to the final boss I was so proud on my prowess! Too bad it was on almost no health, and last life too. Flash forward about ten years, and when I found out my younger brother have beaten the game faster than me, and with more lifes remaining I almost literally had to pick up my jaw from the floor.

I see.

I never played Prince, TLK or Aladdin again, but I like to watch gameplays about it. Ironically Prince of Persia level 3 scared me a lot when I was a kid, but in fact I think is the shortest level of all the game.  xD

Claw, Mmm, I never played it before, but I heard is very hard. Most of the videogames I played when I was a kid was some nes (example Battletoads, TMNT, Contra, etc), and for PC it was changing every year, I passed of Prince of Persia to Pitfall, or Stunts to Need For Speed 3 in... maybe 1 year, and later Warcraft 2 to Age of Empires and Starcraft.

I enjoy so much how well you've detailed The Prince of Persia on the monitor. It makes me feel both old and nostalgic :D

Thanks.

When I played that game it was on a CGA monochromatic monitor, imagine how looked on a green screen that game.
