What happened yesterday left me scars, not because the way i acted was wrong, but cuz someone i thought was a good person and friend since way long ago, showed I was wrong.

I stand firm on my sayings. I'm not raised to lick someone's boots. No one should be, in fact.

in resume, got banned from a discord server by someone that i thought it was a friend and fair. told him I wouldn't lick anyone's boots, got his answer and then out of his servers...i'm not mad or sad due the ban, but for not seeing waay before under that "friend"'s mask.

Sorry about what happened, try to calm down. I gotten block by someone on Twitter over something, but we did make up. I'm sure you'll try to make up with him. If it doesn't work, try to move on. Some people are going to get upset and offended by something even if you didn't mean. Try to understand why it upset them.

i plan to move on. Not sure i can look at his face again without expect that side come up eventually.

I can't understand if he doesn't tell me, and he banned me from the places he could tell.Like i said, the worse thing wasn't the ban itself, but seeing his true side, autoritary one. And i can't stand that. I'm still firm on my values and don't regret anything. If he doesn't want anyone that won't lick his boots, i'm fine with it.

we'll see... still, i don't tolerate autoritarism. What was done wasn't different from what FA and DA does. I have plenty of that, but won't be a "sorry" that will make me change the way i see him now.

*see's the hat* I think I know who it is but wont say anything, other than I'll have to be more weary of them than before. But yeah that sucks and I know the feeling, I say if a person is overly controlling or backstabs you at the slightest inconvenience, or puts their ideology above all else (as in my way or the highway/block button) they are and never were true friends.

That’s horrible of your former “friend” to just ban you like that, all because you weren’t going to lick anyones boots. You’re right, no one should be licking boots to anyone and I’m happy you’re standing firm with that. Don’t like that he had an authoritarian tone to you either. While it completely sucks and unfair for you to get banned like that, at least you can stay true to what you believe in and that’s great.

Yep. They are one of many who have drawn a hard line in the sand (and the people who do that seem to always lean the same direction...) At this point, I don't even bother with politics anymore, given so many people do that nonsense, where if you disagree, you're a villain to them and they block you and hate you. Funny enough, a lot of the people who do that then turn around and gripe about being lonely, as if they aren't the ones who pushed everyone away with their extremism...

yeps. i don't care about any specific side. i care about people. AS long as you respect my choices, then i'll respect back. If they think this is just "centrist bullshit", well, it's not worth my attention anymore. And it's quite fun seeing the pure hypocrisy on these acts. "no for opression" and in the next minute using the opression on their way. hard to respect people like that.

Favorites are their "standing against hate." ...unless you disagree with them, then they hate you. But their hatred isn't hypocritical (yes it is) because they made you a bad guy in their minds, so it's ok to hate you! (the old "it's good to punch Nazis" stuff, since they, in their minds, made you a Nazi, even if they're dead wrong and are putting WAY too much stock into trivial bullshit and politics)
