If you suffer a traumatic event, especially in youth, seek help, friends, family, local counselors, grief and survivors guilt groups exist. Don't suffer in silence, don't turn to unhealthy coping mechanisms, seek professional help, it's out there. Nothing impedes you meeting your best self more than bad mental health.
