Just a little animation test I did for something I may or may not finish. Four-frame walkcycle vs. eight-frame. One was easier than the other, but one looks a lot better. I'll leave it to you to guess which is which.

I think he might have done the same fps, making the left one actually twice as fast since the frames were half as much.  I would say slow it down and add a motion blend of some type

i see both as part of a bigger cycle; you read that thing and slow down (or speed up), with a background moving accordingly

This just proves otters bend spacetime, as the one behind is walking twice as fast as the one in front, yet they travel forward at the same speed!

Eight frames per second appears much smoother.   Frankly both are better than I could ever hope to attempt.
