There is a road, no simple highway Between the dawn and the dark of night And if you go, no one may follow That path is for your steps alone
Ripple in still water When there is no pebble tossed Nor wind to blow
You who choose to lead must follow But if you fall you fall alone If you should stand then who's to guide you? If I knew the way I would take you home
----------------------- (art from September 14th, 2018) ----------------------- Bonus Information : The name of the organization that created XRP is called, "Ripple." The 404 page for the organization is also one of the Grateful Dead dancing bears! I suspect the leader of Ripple also has a sort of cryptography related furry character (which also resembles a GD dancing bear). I also recommend researching ISO20022 and SWIFT, as well as the history and origin of the International Organization for Standardization itself. "If I knew the way, I would take you home."
I did the lineart for Batty and the coloring and background in 2 different sessions. Most of the background is the free select tool in SAI, with some simple brush strokes mirrored on themselves and then color shifted. Using the select tool gives edges a hard pixelated look, but there is a brush that can do that, too. The reason there is a 1 pixel wide coloring issue with Batty is because I selected the background using the opacity cutoff "Magic Wand" tool (opacity range on the lineart layer) and then I went to selection in the topbar, and selected "invert selection" from the dropdown. Basically, it is a fast way to get base colors for your lineart. To avoid the extra pixel issue, I should have selected from the same selection dropdown, "dialate selection" before inverting the selection and applying the colors.
I'm generally more interested in drawing toons, so I was trying to learn how to do some quick and simple backgrounds in late 2018.
<3 thanks~! I did the lineart for Batty and the coloring and background in 2 different sessions. M
