I can just hear her lifting the skull and turning round with the question "Do you remember her?"  Just as deadpan as you please 🤣

IKR? That's gotta be worth a ton. Bet it still works too. The old Nintendo stuff were built like they were made out of some super compound found in sci-fi movies

There's one on exhibition at the Nintendo store in New York that survived a grenade blast in the Gulf War in 1991. It still works to this day and they have it displaying Tetris. X3

I still play mine on flights. Something about the green spinach screen just feels right when playing Tetris or Double Dragon or Super Mario Land when you're flying over the Atlantic. And thank heavens for rechargeable batteries and electric outlets on the airplane seats. There were none of those luxuries in 1989. XD

God I know! I had to get one of those battery packs when I got my Gameboy color because of how any batteries I used with my original gameboy

I've dropped mine so many times yet not a scratch on it. I once dropped it down a flight of stairs and all I had to do was pop the batteries back in and it was perfectly fine. Fast forward to 2017 and the Nintendo Switch screen is getting scratched from placing it in its own dock.

I think I still have mine in a box somewhere.

Oh yeah, the original Game Boy was built Tonka tough. You could put one in a sock and swing it around like a mace and beat a home intruder with it. And then take it out, unpause it and continue your game of Tetris. XD
