----- Decided to have a little fun with a surprisingly aesthetically interesting photo of a Wendy's I took for ???? reason during my travels. "Industrial gloom" is an aesthetic I actually enjoy, I'd say "solitary fast food place in the middle of a parking lot under moody skies" definitely fits that aesthetic.
Wendy's isn't a canon aspect of my universe but it is canon that Skunk Boy and Cody are friends, work together at a generic fast-food place. Nick Domnall might be there too, and Nico Reynard probably got fired from there. (I typically try to avoid most trademarked/copyrighted imagery like real companies and logos and stuff, but fair use blah blah blah Wendy's is a meme anyways.)
My thoughts on "furry people work in food service" usually drift toward the practical concerns of all that fur flying around, but it's probably actually not as big an issue as one might make expect. Anybody that's fuzzy probably just wears long sleeves or longer gloves, Cody might be fine because he's an equid so his fur is short anyways, and some sort of "tail sock" that's like a hairnet might be used, that or some sort of hairspray. Or we just don't worry about the practical and hygienic implications of Dominic Mephitto's glorious skunk tail unless it becomes relevant for plot and/or comedy because it's a cartoon world. Worldbuilding details are fun, though.
Probably gonna call the burger place "Clown World" because that's what most days working fast food feel like.
Skunk Boy is probably good enough at talking shit to run the Wendy's Twitter tbh. Cody probably has to go cry in the cooler whenever a Karen unleashes her wrath on him. Neither of them sets the prices, stop yelling at them about the cost of the food.
I like going to Wendys. <3 I dun understand why people get mean with fast food staffs. They're burnt out within hours into their career and should still be given the golden rule and courtesy of being another human being. The world is mean enough, why bother adding to it?
