Cream's Underwear Nightmares Part 3
(A Sonic parody of Arthur's Underwear)
(Author's Note: Just letting you know, all characters in this story are teens)
The next day, Cream was walking down the hallway and into the cafeteria. She was wearing her gloves, shoes, and wearing her red orange dress with a blue tie. Several kids seemed to be giggling at Cream who was listening and wondering what they were laughing about. When she looked at the kids, they quickly stopped laughing. Cream was confused by this.
Cream: (Quietly) I wonder what they were laughing about? What was so funny?
Cream sat down next to Rouge and Blaze. Rouge was wearing black pants with white Hawaiian flowers, a black tank top with a pink heart on the front and her gloves and boots. Blaze was wearing a violet jacket, a red shirt with a flame on the front, white pants and her gloves and boots. Cream noticed Rouge was laughing a little, but Blaze ignored her. Cream looks at them with curiosity.
Cream: What? What's so funny?
(Rouge smirks at looks at Cream)
Rouge: Hey, Cream. Surprised you have your dress on.
(Cream raised an eyebrow at this before crossing her arms)
Cream: Of course I have my dress on, Rouge. Why shouldn't I?
Blaze: Rouge thought you forgot to wear it.
Cream: What makes you think that?
Blaze: Tails told us you were having nightmares about losing it.
(Cream's eyes went wide and she starts blushing)
Cream: What now?!
(She stands up and grabs her food)
Cream: Well, it's not true!
(She walks off)
Rouge laughs at little, but Blaze narrows her eyes at her.
Blaze: You're a jerk sometimes, Rouge, you know that?
(She winks)
Rouge: And that's why you love me, baby!
Blaze: Still, I feel sorry for Cream. I can't imagine her running around school in her underwear. Knowing her and Vanilla, it's probably something childish.
Rouge: Says the cat who wears Hello Kitty panties.
(Blaze's face turned red)
Blaze: Shut it.
Cream sat down at the next table. She looks to see Silver was having lunch when he saw her with a smile. Silver was wearing gray pants, a light bule and gray jacket, a Fantastic Four t-shirt and his gloves and boots.
Silver: Oh, hi, Cream. I'm glad you decided to sit with me. In fact, I wanted to talk to you.
Cream: About what?
Silver uses his telepathy to picks up some books and placed them on the table. He then takes one and opens it.
Silver: Sonic and Tails told me about your nightmare, so I grabbed some books at the library that talk about the study of dreams.
(He looks in the book he was holding)
Silver: Apparently, you have a pathological fear of embarrassment.
Cream couldn't believe what she was hearing.
Cream: (Quietly) This can't be happening! I must be dreaming!
Cream stood up and ran off. She saw Tails waiting in line for his lunch, wearing a Batman t-shirt and black jeans. Seeing him, Cream thought he might help her. She ran towards him. Tails saw Cream running towards him and wondered what was wrong.
Cream: Tails, there you are!
Tails: Huh? Cream?
(Cream grabs Tails and looks at him in fear)
Cream: Tails, you got to wake me up! I think I'm having another nightmare!
Tails: What? What are you talking about? You don't look like you're asleep. Why do you think that?
Cream: Because everyone seems to know about my underwear dreams.
Tails: Oh. Uh...
(He tugs on his collar a bit)
Tails: Don't be mad...but I just told a few friends.
(Cream's eyes nearly popped out of her head)
Cream: You did what now? How could you?! Amy said you and Sonic promised not to tell anyone! It was embarrassing enough telling the three of you about it.
Tails: Because nothing we were doing was helping you. I wanted advice! I don't have much experience with nightmares.
(Cream placed her hands on her head as her heart was pounding up against her chest)
Cream: This is so embarrassing. Everyone in school is laughing at me. What am I going to tell my mother?
Tails: I'm sorry, Cream. I just wanted to help.
Cream: I know, Tails and I'm not mad at you for that.
(She looks around, freaking out a bit)
Cream: But that's what I was afraid of in the first place!
Cream backs away slowly, unaware that there was something behind her. A hook from the railing caught onto Cream's dress. As Cream backs away, her dress rips. Her SpongeBob panties were showing through the tear.
Cream: OW!
(She looks back and gasps)
Cream then looks to see some of the kids in the cafeteria laughing at her. Tails quickly wraps his tails around her as she grabs her ruined dress. Cream's face was as red as Amy's dress.
Tails: Come on, Cream. To the kitchen.
(Tails and Cream snuck away)
Sonic and Amy were eating at a nearby table when they heard the laughter. They looked to see what was happening with Tails and Cream. Concerned, they decided to follow them. Soon, they made it into the kitchen. Big let them in after hearing what happened and tried to break up the laughter as they left.
Sonic: You alright, Cream?
Cream: Not really.
(She showed them her ruined dress and explained what happened)
Tails: Vanilla can fix them, right?
Amy: I'll call her and tell her what's going on.
Cream: Thank you, guys.
Many minutes later, Amy called Vanilla and she came over to the school. She sat down and started stitching Cream's dress. Cream sat down on a chair, wearing her SpongeBob panties with her name sewn into the tag and matching undershirt. Sonic, Amy and Tails sat with her.
Tails: I'm sorry, Cream. I never should've told anyone. I feel terrible about what happened to you.
Cream: It's okay, Tails. If it makes you feel any better, I'm not mad at you. I know you were only trying to help. I just don't know how to tell my mom I have to change schools.
(She looks down, seeing her name on her SpongeBob undies)
Cream: I got to tell my mom to quit sewing my name in all of my undies.
Before long, Vanilla came out, holding Cream's dress which was now fixed. Cream stood up and Vanilla hands her daughter her dress.
Vanilla: Well, here it is. Good as new. I also fixed one of your pockets. It looked like it had a small hole in it.
Cream: Thanks, mom.
Cream takes her dress from Vanilla, and she starts putting it back on. She pulls it down over her SpongeBob undies. After getting her head and arms through it, she smooths out her dress, hoping her undies were covered.
Vanilla: I'm sorry this happened to you, sweetie.
Cream: It's okay. Say, is there a back exit around here I can use? I'm kind of worried that the rest of the school might see me after what happened earlier.
Vanilla: I don't think so. I talked to Big earlier and he said no.
Cream: Great. Now, what do I do?
Suddenly, Sonic placed a hand on Cream's shoulder.
Sonic: Well... I do have a little advice that might cheer you up.
Cream: Really? What is it?
Sonic: People get embarrassed all the time. It doesn't matter who you are or how old you are. And believe me when I tell you this, Cream... you are not alone. My friends and I had our share of embarrassing moments.
Vanilla: Sonic is right. You're still the cute, friendly, and caring young rabbit I know and love, Cream. With or without your dress.
(Cream smiles, but blushes from the last comment)
Amy: That's right. Now, let's go home. I think we all had enough embarrassing moments for one day.
Tails: I hear that.
The group prepared to leave the kitchen when a smile appeared on Amy's face before whispering to Cream.
Amy: (Whispers) So... SpongeBob panties?
Cream: (Whispers) Who doesn't like SpongeBob SquarePants? (Thoughts) At least I wasn't wearing my Bluey undies today. Or to make it more embarrassing... Baby Shark undies.
(They left the school and walked home)
One week came and went since Cream's accident. Surprisingly, she hasn't had any nightmares about being in her underwear since then. Cream even started walking around the house in her undies, being more confident about the fact that her embarrassment has subsided. Then one day, she was wearing her gloves, shoes, a SpongeBob t-shirt and an orange skirt and was having a milkshake with Tails who was wearing a Paw Patrol t-shirt and his gloves and shoes. She was telling him some good news about her underwear nightmares not happening anymore.
Cream: It's been exactly one week since I had an underwear nightmare.
Tails: That's great, Cream! I never would've guessed that ripping your dress would be the thing to cure you.
Cream: Well, now you'll know what to do if you ever have the nightmare.
(Cream hops out of her seat)
Cream: Come on, let's go home.
Tails took one last sip of his milkshake before leaving his seat. Just as they were about to leave however, Cream noticed something wrong. She looks down and was surprised by what she saw. Tails looks at her, wondering what was wrong.
Cream: Uh, Tails? I think you forgot something.
(She points down)
Tails raised an eyebrow and looks down. He then realizes he's in his Star Wars briefs. He then screams in embarrassment. Suddenly, he wakes up in his bed, wearing Jurassic Park pajamas. Tails sighs, realizing that he had an underwear nightmare just like Cream.
Tails: Oh. Here we go again.
