A character planned to make an appearance in my Ruff and Randy comic.
N'thuuhan is a starspawn, a young Deep One born into nobility in the city of R'lyeh. As prince of the underwater palace, he trains to one day to follow in his father's footsteps and rule over the worshippers of Dagon, but at this young age he has a burning curiosity towards other life forms, specifically creatures who live above land, as well as the demons who inhabit the Chaos.
The Deep Ones mainly keep to themselves, being primarily aquatic in their choice of domain, but they are feared and respected even by demons when they choose to show up on land. The city beneath the waves keeps its doors sealed tight from visitors, with plenty of stories about trespassers being abducted and never heard from again lingering about to discourage further snooping.
Though still too young to have developed psychic powers, N'thuuhan has a strong political presence and has plenty of servants waiting to carry out his orders. Even then, he prefers to slip out on his own or with a small group of bodyguards and observe life on land for his own curiosity.
Adult starspawn have strong latent psychic abilities, able to drive lesser beings insane or probe deeply into unprepared minds. As a culture, they're fairly xenophobic, and have a penchant for objectifying mortals and lesser demons. They also have a taste for the digestive fluids of other creatures, particularly the stomach acids. It's rumored that they sometimes take prisoners with the sole intent of milking them for this delicacy. They 'grow' their technology and tools entirely out of organic matter.
N'thuuhan wishes to establish greater contact with the surface world, so that he can expand his people's territory, peacefully if possible.
