A lovely portrait of Caroline Squirrel.  One of a couple portraits hung on the wall in the main hallway at the Squirrel household, amongst all their other family photos and portraits.

As a followup to the "Shower Time" post, I've long desired to do a nice, family-friendly post (and bio) of her :)

BIO:

Caroline Squirrel is the sweet and loving biological mother of brothers Carsyn & Caedyn.

Somewhere in her early-to-mid thirties, and despite having naturally birthed those two boys, she is still one hot squirrel mama!  And a very caring mama too :)

Born into an upper-middle class family, Caroline is one of three children — two female, one male.  She had a very good upbringing, if not a little bit spoiled.

Her parents (Caedyn's grandparents), while not ultra-wealthy per sé, still came from very comfortable money and once lived in a big historical house, in an upper-cut neighborhood.  Her conservative father, stern but fair and hard-working, was one of a select few vice-presidents at a major & internationally-known business firm, and did quite well for himself and the family.  Material comforts, good food, and good times were always known during Caroline's upbringing.

While somewhat smart, Caroline wasn't a nerdy bookworm, though still graduating a little bit above average in her class.  In her school years, Caroline was pretty, well-liked, and popular (though not arrogant about it).  With her classmates knowing she came from a family of money, and much to both her parents' exhaustion, Caroline had a lot of boyfriends and suitors in her high-school and college years!

She is a caring mother and loves her two boys Carsyn (the oldest) and Caedyn (the youngest) equally and with the utmost purest love that any mother could.

She wants only the best for her boys - and supports and helps them in every way possible — preparing breakfasts/lunches/dinners (and she's a really good cook too!), driving them to school and friends' houses, helping with their homework, doing their laundry — Caroline does it all!   For a stay-at-home mama, it's all in the line of duty.  This is only made possible given the money/inheritance her family has, as well as her husband's decently paying middle-management job.  While fortunate for the Squirrel family, this is sadly much the opposite of Melecia & Mereleen's mother, who works two shifts and has very little time to do any of that :(

But Caroline has some worry and concern over her youngest boy, Caedyn, who (unlike Carsyn) is much more slowly developing, shy, and less confident in the world.

As a result, Caroline tends to be a little overprotective and more of a "helicopter mother" over Caedyn.

Speaking of which — sometimes her husband Conroy (the boys' father), an honorably-discharged former soldier, semi-intellectual and "man-of-the-world" type, feels that Caroline is too soft on the boys.

Conroy met Caroline in college after he returned from the "War of Rodentia", which was fought largely overseas.  When they met, Conroy was quickly infatuated by Caroline's attractive curvy figure, and her (quite rare) violet-colored eyes — a very recessive trait in rodents, much like green eyes in humans.  It was love at first sight, he often recounts.

After initially playing "hard to get" with Conroy, eventually Caroline warmed up to his austere (and often dry) personality.   They dated toward the end of their university years, he proposed, and they married after graduation.  Not long after, Carsyn was born.  A few years after that, they conceived a second time, and our purest-of-heart Caedyn was then born :)

The two boys inherited a bit of their reddish eye shades from her!

And did I ever mention she can make one heck of a gourmet grilled-cheese sandwich!?  Old Squirrel family recipe ;)
