Quite a long time ago now, when Blubby and Squirt first met, the poor squirtle was afraid of water and couldn't even swim! Blubby worked to help change both of those things, of course, and later that day they were both happily exploring underwater together! Even after an incident on their way back to shore, Squirt had fully overcome his fear, and he and Blubby had become great friends!
Also that's exactly how I would probably be in real life, I can't swim in real life and going underwater would be challenging to me at first, man if only I had blubby here with me in real life to help like Squirt here, that would be amazing!
